Iranian television broadcast a report in which a local scientist "admitted" that he provided information to Israel to help it assassinate several senior nuclear scientists in Iran, according to Reuters.
The scientist, Ahmedraza Jalali, was sentenced to death after being convicted of espionage. Jalali's wife told Reuters that the confession on television was not true and that her husband had been forced to read a prepared text.
