The cabinet has approved Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's proposal to unite the national cyber units (the National Cyber Task Force and the National Authority for Cyber Defense) into one unit, the National Cyber System.
The unit will be responsible for all aspects of cyber protection in the civilian sphere, from the formulation of policy and the building of a technological force, to operational cyber defense.
