A new amendment to the anti-trust laws could see the removal of import bureaucracy by restricting the power of exclusive importers to prevent other importers from reaching the market.
The exclusive importers sometimes use their market power to prevent rivals from reaching distribution channels as well as preventing Israeli consumers from obtaining items on foreign internet sites.
