A rabid dog was discovered in the village of Muawiya in the Basma district in Wadi Ara.
The Health Ministry has asked all those who were in contact or whose pets were in contact with a sick or roaming animal to immediately contact the nearest health clinic in order to consider preventative anti-rabies measures.
