A 70-year-old woman was found dead inside a crashed vehicle along an escape route in southern California.
The woman, Virginia Pesola, is considered to be the first victim of the six wildfires currently raging through southern California.
The fires have spread over nearly 161,000 acres, causing the evacuation of over 200,000 people.
