Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif al-Qanaweh took part on Friday in a march against Israel in the village of Jabalya, and attacked U.S. President Donald Trump following his announcement this week that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
"Trump's decision buried a quarter of a century of a peace process and the peace agreements. Our people have no choice but to stand firm and resist the occupation. The intifada of the Palestinian people is continuing against the occupation. Today the public has come out to say - we will not allow the Trump declaration, Jerusalem and Palestine will win," he said.
