The nominal average monthly wage stood at NIS 10,148 (almost $2889) in September, according to figures just released by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
The number of salaried positions was 3.515 million. A little more than a third were in industries where the average wage was higher than the national average and just under two thirds were in industries where the average wage was lower.
