Bolivia will seek to convene the United Nations Security Council in the wake of President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intention to transfer the embassy to Jerusalem.
Bolivian Ambassador to the UN Sacha Sergio Lorenti Solis said that Trump's declaration was "destructive, dangerous, contrary to international law and UN Security Council resolutions, and weakens any effort for peace in the region."
