IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot met on Tuesday with Brett McGurk, U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the global coalition to defeat ISIS.
During the meeting, the two discussed the fight against ISIS, the phenomenon of inspired terrorism and their influence on regional stability.
“Productive discussion with Israeli Chief of GEN Staff Eizenkot today in #TelAviv focused on defeating #ISIS and bedrock US-Israeli partnership,” McGurk tweeted after the meeting.
