Prime Minister Netanyahu and Welfare and Social Services Minister Haim Katz did not authorize a general permit for Shabbat work at soccer matches.
The lack of such a permit could lead to the implementation of the Supreme Court prohibition on Shabbat soccer games but the state is expected to request a postponement of implementation by the court.
