Minister of Culture and Sport Miri Regev met with community and neighborhood rabbis to discuss strengthening Jewish identity through Israeli culture.
Regev said afterwards that "in addition to activities I have been doing to strengthen heritage such as the centers for poetry and folk music, Torah research institutes, festivals and other activities I have promoted, I will examine other ideas brought up by the rabbis during the meeting,"
The rabbis praised Regev for her "stalwart efforts to strengthen Jewish identity and restore Jewish heritage based on Jewish tradition."
