Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein has expressed shock at news of violence that broke up a meeting of the Labor, Welfare and Health Committee regarding allowances for the disabled.
Knesset ushers were helpless as violence broke out between two groups of disabled people, including an attempted stabbing. Edelstein said, "The Knesset is a place for discussion and debate, but never a place for violence, and I call upon all the leaders of the struggle to denounce those behave this way."
