The Parents' Forum and the National Student Council have expressed resentment at the disruption of studies caused by the recently-started sanctions of the Secondary School Teachers Organization.
The sanctions including rolling strikes and a just-announced refusal to grade tests. A statement by the groups says "While we support the struggle to raise the salaries and status of the teachers, we are strongly opposed to the harming of Israel's students." It continued, "The harm to students preparing for matriculation exams can be irreversible."
