A new version of the recommendations law, which states that the law will not apply to investigations that began before the enactment of the law, was distributed to the members of the internal committee who are supposed to approve the law prior to the second and third readings.
The new version is in line with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's announcement yesterday that he requested that the new law not apply to the investigations being conducted against him.
