Members of Knesset Michal Rozin and MK Tamar Sandberg (Meretz) have expressed outrage at the closure of the sexual harassment case against MK Nissan Slomiansky (Jewish Home).
The two said, "We back the victims and believe them. We are sorry that the failure of the criminal system over the years has made it so the victims do not believe in it, and its ability to bring the perpetrators to justice. There is no doubt that the personal price and the blame placed on the victims prevent them from receiving their day in court and bring about justice, and thus it happened in this case."
They added, "When it comes to elected officials, it is unthinkable that closing a case for lack of evidence will be a approval of his remaining in the political arena. This is a badge of poverty for his party and for the entire political system that agrees to absorb it."
