Health Ministry inspectors conducted a survey at the Mandarin restaurant in Jerusalem and discovered meat products which had been frozen in unhygienic conditions, had no proper marking and no production authorization.
The storage, treatment and marketing of meat without the proper conditions required by law can harm public health " said the ministry.
350 kg of meat were destroyed at the orders of the district veterinarian. The Health Ministry and the Municipality have taken legal action against the restaurant.
