Member of Knesset Amir Peretz (Zionist Union) has responded to the naval version of the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system going operational by saluting the development teams of the defense industries, commanders of the Israel Defense Forces and the soldiers who operate it.
The former minister of defense note, "The threat to the home front is and will be a central part of any military campaign in the 21st century, whether it is against foreign armies or terrorist organizations."
