Greece defeated Israel 82-61 on Monday evening in Heraklion on the island of Crete to move into the lead of Group H in European Zone qualifying for the FIBA World Cup in basketball.
Israel dropped into second place with the loss. It's next game is scheduled for February 25th against Great Britain, which plays Estonia tonight in a battle of winless teams.
