Director-General Moshe Bar-Siman Tov of the Health Ministry has published a letter to the ministry's employees following the resignation of Minister Yaakov Litzman, in which he wrote, "I regret the minister's resignation, and the health system has lost a minister with a genuine sense of mission and a strong desire to work for the health of all the residents of the country. I spoke this morning with the minister and expressed the hope that he will quickly return to his post."
The letter continued, "Despite the minister's departure, we will continue with the extensive activity and advancement of the work and policy plans outlined by the Minister, in full force."
