Welfare Minister Haim Katz has signed regulations that cancel a restriction in the law that does not allow the receipt of income support for people who rent apartments they don't live in.
The regulations seek to recognize people such as owners of apartments in the periphery who rent out those apartments for the purpose of financing the apartment where they live.
