The Al-Jarida Arabic-language Kuwaiti newspaper reports that at the meeting between Syrian president Hafez al-Assad and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, Assad said that Damascus is ready to demilitarize the Syrian side of the Golan and is even considering granting autonomy to the Druze and the Kurds in Syria, according to an NRG report.
