Yesh Atid leader MK Yair Lapid called on Likud ministers to allow the railway work to take place on the coming Shabbat.

"The last time that Netanyahu caved in to the haredim over Shabbat work on the railway, hundreds of thousands of people got stuck in a huge traffic jam. That is what will happen this time again," Lapid wrote on his Facebook page. "There are another 48 hours to change the 'evil decree'. I call on Likud ministers to stop this."
