Islamic Revolutionary Guards Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari rejected on Thursday, a demand by France that Lebanese terror group disarm. He was cited by Iranian state TV as saying, “Hezbollah needs to remain armed in order to fight Lebanon’s enemy, which is Israel. Naturally, they need to be equipped with the best weapons in order to protect Lebanon’s security - this matter is non-negotiable.”
Jafari put the same "non-negotiable" label on the Islamic Republic's ballistic missile and credited French President Emmanuel Macron's call for negotiations on the matter to Macron being "young and inexperienced".
