The State Comptroller's Office responded Tuesday to claims made by MK Betzalel Smotrich.
"The investigation of the Binyamin regional authority began on the 6th of October 2016, well before the legislative initiatives of MK Smotrich. It is a baseless conspiracy to connect the investigation to the legislative initiatives."
