The Southern District Prosecutor submitted a suit in the name of the Israel Lands Administration(ILA) at the Beersheva District court. The claim, filed against the Kiryat Gat municipality, states that it violated an umbrella agreement with the ILA. The agreement would allow for the construction of more than 6,400 housing units in the new Karmei Gat neighborhood.
