In preparation for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Women's International Zionist Organization has published its annual violence report, which collects data from the Ministry of Welfare, the Ministry of Health, the courts and the Israel Police.

The figures show that alongside the increase in the number of women who have been harmed, the percentage of men and children who are treated after being exposed to violence is very low. Of the approximately half a million children exposed to violence, 2,000 - less than half a percent - are treated in centers and shelters. Of the 200,000 men who suffer from violence, only about a quarter are treated.
