About 1,000 worshipers prayed at the tomb of the biblical figure Joseph and the surrounding compound in the Samarian Palestinian Authority city of Shechem on Monday evening.
The Israel Defense Forces, in cooperation with Border Guards and the Israel Police, secured the entry of the participants and the prayers were not disrupted.
