Firefighters on Saturday battled a fire which broke out in a large grove near the Hanania Junction in the Upper Galilee.
According to the Nature and Parks Authority, the fire is located on Mount Meron's southern slopes.
Three teams of firefighters and eight firefighting planes are working to battle the blaze.
It is not clear what caused the fire.
