Following an assessment of the situation, IDF forces troops on Friday afternoon blocked the Arab village of Halhul, from which the terrorist who carried out Friday's attack in Gush Etzion came, in order to prevent additional terrorists from leaving the village.
IDF commanders noted positively the rapid reaction of the troops who were at the Gush Etzion junction in neutralizing the terrorist, which led to the removal of the threat and the prevention of additional casualties.
