Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan visited the southwestern border and inspected police preparation for terrorist actions.
In the last few days alertness has been raised in the region in the wake of the recent tunnel explosion in which 14 Islamic Jihad terrorists were killed.
Erdan expressed his satisfaction at the level of preparedness of police and added that "whoever will try to harm the state of Israel will receive a harsh and disproportionate response."
