Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and Public Security minister Gilad Erdan will propose the gradual closure of the Holot detention facility within the next few months.\
The proposal will be presented to the government Sunday in accordance with the prime minister's policy and court rulings on the matter. The proposal states that the only possibilities for illegal migrants will be to leave the country or go to jail and therefore the detention facility will be redundant.
