Member of Knesset Michal Rozin (Meretz) has responded to a statement by Zionist Union Chairman Avi Gabbay's statement that "the left has forgotten what it means to be Jews," by saying, "Not only have we not forgotten what it means to be Jews, on the contrary."
Rozin explained, "As opposed to Orthodox Judaism, we contain all the streams and expand the Jewish tent in that we (male and female) give room to all those who choose to be part of the Jewish community according to their own way and belief."
