Chairman Avi Gabbay of the of the Zionist Union faction in the Knesset said on Monday that he was ready to be No. 2 on a list of candidates with Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid Party, if polls prove that Yesh Atid is getting more seats than the Zionist Union.

Speaking to Labor Party students at Ben-Gurion University in Be'er Sheva', Gabbay also said "The left forgot what it is to be Jews." He explained, "I tell you responsibly, they are the basis of all the generations that arose. Where does it all begin? It all begins with our Torah and our laws and our basic things. It all starts there."
