On Monday, the Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against three men for security offenses - contact with a foreign agent, membership in a terrorist organization and money laundering.
The three defendants are Ahmed Hassan, a 25-year-old Hamas activist who is serving a 17-year sentence since 2009 for offenses against state security; Saad Abu Warda, 26, a resident of Jabalya in the Gaza Strip who has been staying in Israel unlawfully and without a permit since 2011; and Ayman Salhab, 42, from the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem.
