Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely praised the efforts of Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit and Deputy Director Roy Sheindorf on progress in finding a creative solution to the issue of infringement of privacy in order to promote the visa exemption to the United States.
"The Foreign Ministry is working on parallel planes to reduce the percentage of Israelis refused visas to the United States, a hurdle that still limits the achievement of the desired agreement, and I will meet with the US consul to examine the issue as the next step in promoting the visa exemption."
