MK Dr. Nachman Shai (Zionist Union), a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, responded this morning to the US-Russian agreement signed over Syria.
"Despite the fact that Israel prided itself on its relations with both the United States and Russia, the fact is that from now on, Israel will have to live with a permanent Iranian presence on Syrian soil, with the Iranians at a very short distance from the Israeli border."
