Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan welcomed the court's ruling that haredi IDF officer Yehuda Glickman would receive compensation totaling 650,000 shekels for abuse he suffered from extremist anti-draft haredi activists.

"The verdict today proves that the court also understood that we must not abandon the soldiers of Israel in general and the haredi soldiers in particular. We will continue to stand by the haredi soldiers, and we will work to prosecute anyone who harms them or instigates them,” he said.
