Zafar Mulham, the head of the Palestinian Authority Energy Authority, has revealed in an interview to the Hamas newspaper Falesteen that talks have recently been held with Israeli authorities in an effort to increase Israel's supply of electricity to Gaza from 75 megawatts to 120 megawatts.
Mulham noted that the PA intends to rehabilitate the Gaza electricity system, but that depends on contacts with Israel regarding the supply of equipment needed for the electricity grid and other technical matters.
