The Vaad Tzion Rabbeinu in Eretz Israel (Committee for bringing the grave of our rabbi to the land of Israel) of the Breslov hassidic movement who support the Israeli initiative to bring the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov to Israel have initiated two actions as part of the campaign.
One is a T-shirt with the words "LET MY RABBI GO" above the portrait of Rabbi Yisrael Odesser, echoing the words of Moses to Pharaoh in the Bible and the campaign for the freedom of Soviet Jewry, specificly outgoing Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky. The second was a letter to the Prime Minister of Ukraine stating that while Rabbi Nachman chose to be buried in the Ukrainian city of Uman, he also said his place was in Israel, next to his ancestor, King David.
