Twelve police officers have been questioned over the past few days under warning of prosecution by the Department for Investigation of Police Officers in the State Prosecutor's Office, on suspicion of violent offenses against haredi-religious Jews during anti-draft demonstrations in recent months, according to Maariv.

That includes an officer who has already been indicted on two charges of violence. The Police Investigations Department notes that the investigation of the events is ongoing and decisions on how to deal with officers will be made in the next few days. There is no doubt that in the case of the most serious incidents, criminal charges will be filed while some of the actions will only result in disciplinary action.
