Galil Products Limited has announced the recall of the 380-gram and 720-gram containers of whole tahini produced by Ambasel Trading House, Gondar Ethiopia, imported by Hurvitz Trade and Marketing and marketed by Machveret Galil (Barcodes 7290000411682 and 7290000411699 with expirations dates of 2/2020).
Quality-control testing raised a suspicion of salmonella and as a precaution, it was decided to collect the products from retailers. The company is asking the public not to consume it and return it to the place of purchase to receive a credit.
