Private Asaf Yifrach, whose brother Eyal Yifrach was murdered by Hamas terrorists three years ago with Gil-Shaer and Naftali Frenkel, completed basic training in the paratroops this week.
In an interview to be published tomorrow in the weekend supplement of Yisrael Hayom, he said, "On the evening of the swearing-in ceremony at the Western Wall, I felt that Eyal was following me in spirit, I stood with my weapon in Hatzeg (salute) position and suddenly I heard my brother Elhanan calling me. I knew that Eyal was supposed to be in this place two years before me, and I was the one who was supposed to be sitting in the audience and being proud of him."
