The proposal to establish a basic law providing a special budget for Jerusalem as Israel's capital will be submitted to the Ministerial Legislative Committee Sunday. More than 50 MKs have expressed their support for the bill initiated by MKs Betzalel Smotrich(Jewish Home) and Hilik Bar(Zionist Union).
The law establishes criteria for reducing fiscal gaps between Jerusalem and the 15 other large cities in Israel.
