Labor party leader Avi Gabbay addressed prime minister Netanyahu and said that "I was happy to hear the prime minister agree to our approach of a joint effort to find common ground and achieve unity as well as arguing about principles rather than extremist rhetoric.

"Esteemed Prime Minister, the true test of your declarations is in actions. Hours after your speech [Culture Minister] Miri Regev called those who think differently from her 'Trojan horses and spies.' What are you going to do about that? We will unite the nation with actions and not just with florid speeches," Gabbay said.
