Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and British Prime Minister Theresa May have begun their meeting in London, ahead of ceremonies to mark the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, which paved the way to the modern state of Israel. At the outset of the meeting, Netanyahu said that the Palestinians must accept a Jewish homeland and state 100 years after the declaration, and that when they do so, the path to peace will be closer and peace will be attainable.

Regarding the Iranian nuclear threat, Netanyahu said his goal was not to cancel the 2015 deal between the Tehran government and the international community but to improve the deal and correct its failures, and that those who want to preserve the deal should cooperate in that effort.
