Rabbi Gideon Perl, former rabbi of Alon Shvut eulogized Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, founder of the Tzomet Institute, at Rabbi Rosen's funeral on Thursday, saying, "You created the conversion authority, a campaign of love, and invested time and money which you did not get back. Thus you merited to bring hundreds under the wings of the Divine Presence and to build many homes in Israel.
"You merited to establish the Tzomet Institute, and helped a lot to solve personal and public problems in accordance with modern technology. We have lost a friend, a brother and a talmid hakham [wise student] - and we weep for that."
