Newly-elected Chairman Hananel Dorani of the Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria issued a statement to council members after his election.
the statement read, "In light of the challenges of the moment, I hope that I will succeed in being a faithful emissary, like the heads of the Yesha Council in the past, toward strengthening and developing the settlement enterprise. I am determined to do this with you and with G-d's help, together we will succeed."
