President Trump's special representative for international negotiations Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner visited Saeb Erekat, a top Palestinian Authority official, in a hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. Erekat is recuperating from lung transplant surgery he experienced earlier this month.
Kushner and Greenblatt have been working to further President Trump's goal of brokering a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
