United States President Donald Trump called to put an end to the green card lottery, charging that it enabled the terrorist responsible for the deadly terror attack in New York City on Tuesday to enter the United States.
"The terrorist came into our country through what is called the 'Diversity Visa Lottery Program,' a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based," Trump tweeted earlier Wednesday.
He continued: "We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter)."
