The Special Committee investigating the disappearence of Yemenite children held another hearing Tuesday, endeavoring to gather new evidence from families of children who disappeared, according to a Maariv report. MK Nurit Koren(Likud) who heads the committee said that the law allowing the opening of graves which she had initiated would be submitted to the Knesset plenum for its first reading Tuesday and "with the help of this law every family with a doubt will be able to verify whether their family member is buried there and we can thus put an end to the questions, say Kaddish and maybe mourn."
In one case a mother was told that she her child had died in hospital and a nurse then said to her friend in Yiddish: "What is she crying about? She has four children at home."
